Get In Your Car. Stay In Your Car. Experience CityView Drive-In.
Toronto’s culture thrives on live experiences, music, arts, and entertainment. We breed world class talent and attract some of the biggest names today. As we adapt to life after a global pandemic, we look back at all of the creative ideas and projects that have been created here and across our borders. Like Toronto, major global cities have created new cultural and entertainment experiences like drive-in outdoor concert venues.
In June 2020, INK Entertainment opened CityView Drive-In, an outdoor concert and entertainment venue with an entirely contactless experience. Designed to host 200+ vehicles in reserved parking spots a minimum of seven feet apart, guests enjoyed live entertainment from a 238-foot stage and three large LED screens from the comfort of their own car.
In its first year, CityView Drive-In hosted a diverse calendar of events like concerts (featuring the likes of DVSN, Deadmau5, Monster Truck, Allan Rayman), film screenings with Toronto International Film Festival, Canada’s Drag Race LIVE, Toronto Symphony Orchestra at the Drive-In, Just For Laughs Comedy Night in Canada, and more.
